My name is Clarissa. I'm a fiber artist based in Seattle passionate about sewing, sexual empowerment, and making cute things! I mainly work in fabric, and make all of my work out of upcycled textiles (which sounds impressive, until you realize about 92 million tons of textile waste ends up in the landfills yearly, ask me about book recommendations on the topic later). I’m learning to love myself, and my art is an expression of that. I’ve shown at The Fishbowl, Whippersnapper, and Columbia City Gallery. I also run a mending and repair circle once a month out of the Capitol Hill Tool Library where I teach people to sew and fix their clothing! Send me a message if you would like to work together, want a new art pal, or have cool book recs.
